Roseanne A. Ware

Executive Director of Sol Adventurers Foundation, Inc., since its creation in 2005. Roseanne A. Ware comes from a distinguished academic and clinical career focusing on empowerment of youth and women. An important focus of her work has been to empower disenfranchised individuals to discover their gifts and obtain the resources and mentors they need to help them along that path. She oversees both the Los Angeles and Jamaica Projects of Sol Adventurers Foundation, Inc. Roseanne has extensive experience working with individuals with chronic mental illness in acute and long term psychiatric facilities as well as in the community and urgent care centers. She also has extensive experience working with at risk youth and women in shelters and the communities in Philadelphia, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Jamaica. Roseanne has a B.S. degree in psychology with sociology minor from Drexel University. She has training as a school psychologist from St John’s University. She also earned an MSW in Clinical Social Work from Loyola University of Chicago. Roseanne is an international reggae musician playing alto saxophone and avid lover of reggae music. She loves the ocean, waterfalls and nature and loves to share this with others.


Joseph Gell

Joseph Gell realized that he had a calling to work with and motivate young nearly a decade ago. He has been working with youth professionally for 7 years, and has experience working for non-profits both in the field and administratively. He was introduced to the foundation after meeting the founder and executive director Roseanne Ware. As a volunteer, Joseph has mentored and instructed in schools, facilitated and coordinated fundraising events, and is an active member of the foundation’s Los Angeles, Newsletter, and Fundraising committees. He gives thanks and praises to the Most High for guiding him to the Sol Adventurers Foundation!
